David Goodman was sufficiently prescient to know that an increase in the life expectancy bode well for a company catering to the health care needs of seniors. The Manhattan native remembers noticing the abundance of nursing homes and thinking there must be a better alternative to these often depressing places. With this in mind, he opened Expert Home Care, an agency headquartered in New Brunswick specializing in live-in home care.

That was nearly a quarter of a century ago. Today, he and his business partner Frank Esposito have built Expert Home Care into the largest live-in agency in New Jersey with annual sales of over $3 million.
