Start Up Business for Aging Seniors

An Aging Population

By 2030, one American in five will be over 65. Currently, those over 65 comprise about 12% of the population and account for a quarter of doctors office visits and at least a third of hospital stays, prescriptions and ambulance visits.

Since there is little branding in the home care industry –no McDonald s or Ace Hardware s to offer franchisees instant recognition — the membership model in this industry has proven particularly attractive because it offers members greater independence and autonomy at a far lower entry fee.

Members of the Companion Connection Senior Care network receive an intensive and interactive four-day seminar as well as a five-week interactive home study program, caregiver training tapes, manuals, CDs, essential business forms, a customized website, advertising materials and assistance in procuring the necessary operational materials.
